Parsons graduate. Contagiously inspirational pioneer. Fabric-salvaging, retro-remixing, sustainable human.
Micaela studied fashion design at Parsons School of Design in New York, focusing on sustainability in a world beset by environmentally detrimental fast fashion practices.
She channels her knowledge of sustainable fashion into creating handmade apparel and art from vintage textiles. She naturally dyes them with foraged plants and locally grown produce scraps, and stitches them into one-of-a-kind apparel and wall art.
An apparel designer by trade, Micaela creates whimsical designs that draw focus to femininity from her sunny studio in Virginia.
